Essential HI-ZEX Plastic Tsuba for Bokuto

This is a tsuba (guard) for bokken (wooden swords) made from Hi-Zex, a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) produced by Prime Polymer Co., Ltd. Compared to standard plastic tsubas, Hi-Zex is softer, making it easier to attach to your bokken and adjust the tsuba hole for a perfect fit. The tsuba comes in two sizes: one for large and medium swords, and one for small swords.

Please note that the tsuba stopper rubber is sold separately.

Important Notes:

• This product is designed for standard bokken shapes, including both regular and high-end models. It is not compatible with bokken designed for specific martial arts styles or suburi (practice) bokken, as the thickness of these bokken may differ.
• Since each bokken is handcrafted, you may need to slightly adjust the tsuba hole by shaving it down to ensure it fits securely up to the hamachi (blade notch).
